This really is a Beautiful Pair of Antique American Victorian Sterling Silver Wedding Napkin Rings. LARGE SIZE!. American Made - Circa Approx. 1870s. Note! They are Each Completely Hand Made. Each has an Extensive Assortment of Fine All Hand Engraved Decorated Features that are done in a Classic Eastlake Victorian Style. Husband and Wife Napkin Ring Sets were Popular as Wedding Gifts During the Classic Victorian Era. They have Hand Engraved 3 Letter Monograms - One with R.E.W and the other J.E.W. Both are Marked on the interior 125 S ( S Denotes Silver ). They have no Maker Marks. They have Been Professionally Tested and They Are Absolutely Guaranteed to be Solid Sterling Silver. They have a Combined Solid Sterling Silver Weight of 47.71 Grams / 1.535 Troy Ounces. They are Both Are In Very Good Condition - They are Lightly Tarnished - Could use a Good Polishing. Note! that since Each was Individually Hand Made there is a Very Slight Variation on the Engraved Features.
LARGE SIZE! - Each Measures 1 3/4 inches Tall x 1 13/16 inches Wide.

Some of Pieces of American Coin Silver items that were produced were marked "Coin" - but it should be Noted that many of the other pieces that were produced during that period Have No Silver Mark At All. Once the Sterling Standard took hold the vast majority of the Silver Pieces that were produced by Numerous American Silver Companies were marked "Sterling".
