This Mary Faulconer print exudes warmth and hominess through its integration of wild flowers and plants and color scheme. Rendered in hues of brown, gold, and red with expanses of white or off-white, the artist relies on a concept of peace and prosperity made famous by American landscape painter George Inness in his quaint depictions of the American farms and fields during the American Civil War.
