Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso amethyst purple "Alexandrite" with red accents Italian art glass color changing bunny rabbit figurine / sculpture. Documented to the Cenedese company. The rabbit has red accents on eyes and the bubble inside the body. The piece is made with Neodymium "Alexandrite" glass, which changes color from daylight to indoor light, from a lavender purple to ice blue in this case. It also contains a high amount of Manganese, which makes it turn a pinkish orange under a black light. Would make a great display piece on any desk, curio or vanity. Mid-century era. Measures: 5 1/4" tall x 2 1/4" long x 2" wide.
