It's created piece by piece, including the Art Deco style bamboo design atop the screen, by the finest Japanese artisan, at a time when there were many Japanese imports. I purchased this in West Hollywood California at a popular Antique store. They said it came from the home of Zsa Zsa Gabor. See less
