Signed PJ for Paul Jacquet (1883-1968). Paul Jacquet is a french ceramist professor at the Beaux-Arts in Geneva, located in Savoie (east of France). He is influenced by tradition of Savoy pottery and mix it with Art Deco modernism and African influences. He collaborated with the Primavera workshops and received the gold medal at the Decorative Arts exhibition in 1925. He influenced Jean Besnard and produced pieces for the Vuitton family.
This discreet but master piece will fit into most tasteful interiors. It will go particularly well with traditional interiors (rustic chic, chalet), interiors using natural materials (bohemian, African inspiration) or geometric interiors in bright colors (pop, art deco, modern).
