This Fischel no. 19 E chair dates from around 1915. Stamp "Fischel Austria" underneath the seat. The chair is depicted in the 1915 Fischel catalogue.
David Gabriel Fischel founded D.G. Fischel Sons in Niemes, Czechoslovakia, around 1870. Later Fischel also had a branch in Vienna. The firm existed till 1939. This piece has an attribution mark,
