Sabine Funke ( B. 1955 ) is a German born Modernist painter. She is concerned with the interaction of color, and classified in the tradition of Color Field Painting. The large format Minimalist compositions are often created directly on interior walls. Her mural artworks focus particularly on the spatial effect of color fields that create a deep dialogue with the architecture and de-materialize the space. The international award winning artworks of Funke have been exhibited in some of the most prestigious museum in the world.

Luis Barragan ( 1902 - 1988 ) was a Mexican born Modernist architect and engineer whose work has influenced international Contemporary architects visually and conceptually. Opposed to functionalism, Barragan strove for an " Emotional Architecture " famously stating the any work of architecture which does not express serenity if a mistake. he used raw materials combined with an original dramatic use of light, and a bold saturated color palette giving his interiors a lyrical atmosphere. He was honored with a major retrospective at The Museum of Modern Art New York, the winner of the prestigious Pritzker Architecture highest prize, and his house and studio built in 1948 in Mexico City, were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2004.

The rare out of print framed Modernist exhibition poster print measures 24 1/2" W X 34 1/8" H X 1 3/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern recessed beveled detailed lavender plum purple matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " condition consistent with age, light signs of handling and light minor surface wear.
