Ru Yi lappets band the lip, the waist of the neck is banded by two floral medallions amid ornate intertwining leafy vines flanked by two dragon handles, ending in a border of small fleur de lys at the neck flange, followed by a shallow stepped ring with large Ru Yi lappets. The body of the vase repeats the decoration around the neck with its four large floral medallions quartered around the body amid ornate leafy intertwining vines. The body of the vase is bracketed by narrow, slight stepped rings above and below. The lower body and extended foot are banded by large Ru Yi lappets. All vase decoration is done with light celadon highlights in a slight bas-relief. A blue, six character, Qianlong, reign mark is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China era.
