This fantastic bureau plat features an ornate serpentine crossbanded top inset with a gold tooled green leather writing surface and finished with a stylish ormolu border. The shaped frieze features a useful drawer and and the desk is raised on elegant ormolu mounted tapering cabriole legs terminating in ormolu sabots. Add a touch of unparalleled panache and style to your office or drawing room with this truly impressive bureau plat. Complete with original working lock and key. Condition: In excellent condition, having been cleaned and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation of condition.
