Decorative plate with ermine and stylized gorse pattern, flamed background and black shading edge.
This plate is aesthetically at a croassroad between Seiz Breur movement - a renewal of traditionnal breton art - traditionnal breton celtic iconography and seventies vibes by colors. More precisely, it perpetuate René Quivillic renewal.
Very graphic, this plate can fit in sixties / seventies, breton, celtic, boho or californian interiors. It can enhance seaside / loft decoration or be an eyecatcher in any light interior.
Plate produced by Louis Nédellec (1921 - 1992), studio potter independant working from 1963 to 1988, not very known at this time but who had signed some interresting and unique pieces.
9.6'' diameter.
Very good condition, one very tiny ship.
