Chinese porcelain gourd and butterfly huluping, a gourd shape vase with a gilt lip, an imperial yellow glaze covered by … Read more Chinese porcelain gourd and butterfly huluping, a gourd shape vase with a gilt lip, an imperial yellow glaze covered by small pattern iron wire craquelure on the exterior and a turquoise glazed interior and inset base. The body of the vase is decorated with polychrome butterflies amid polychrome segmented gourds and intertwining leafy vines. Three very fine red circles band the extended foot. An apocryphal six character blue and white Qianlong reign mark is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved traditional Chinese hongmu stand is included. Circa ROC, no later than 3rd quarter of the 20th.
