Born in Portugal during the second half of the 19th century, featuring impressive Iberian peninsula rustic craftsmanship and high-quality handcrafted solid wooden construction, richly hand carved and sculpted detailing, having a rectangular shaped thick single slab plank top with molded edge and attractive aging, atop a conforming base fitted with one large dovetailed frieze drawer, over ornate stretcher-joined trestle supports with scrolled accent, terminating in substantial lion paw animal feet.
