The lithograph print poster is published by The Brooklyn Museum New York, printed in The United States in 1992 in an unnumbered limited edition by Springdale Graphics, Connecticut. It features an artwork image originally created by Avery in 1943 titled " Artist's Daughter by the Sea ".

Milton Avery ( 1885 - 1965 ) is a non traditional American Modern painter. While clearly representational, Avery's work is seminal to American Abstract Painting as it focuses on color relations and is not concerned with creating the illusion of depth. Often thought of as the American " Matisse " because of his colorful, imaginative, and poetic bold creative use of drawing and color, that set him apart from other painters of his era. Art works by Avery are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print lithograph print framed museum poster measures 31 1/4" W X 25 3/8" H X 7/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern buttercream light yellow matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean vintage condition consistent with age and very light signs of handling.
