Tasso in His Prison is an Original ink and watercolor drawing realized by Amédée Auguste Desmoulins (1820-1870). The little artwork is in good condition, included a cream colored cardboard passpartout ( 27.5x36.5 cm). Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Amédée Auguste Desmoulins, born in Paris on September 22, 1850 and died in an unknown place and date, is a French woodcarver, active between 1876 and 1907. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
