Circa 1960s; Neoclassical-style desk with fluted legs, an arched coved center, and brass pull hardware. Newly professionally refinished, in a white gloss lacquered body finish, also newly refinished top, the original book-matched, butterfly oak top, refinished in a sophisticated, weathered taupe, ceruse finish.
Gorgeous details to stilted, tapered and fluted legs with staggered fluted details, including same design esthetic to body surround, capped architectural medallions to all corners. Left top drawer inset, with divided pen, pencil holder. Interior drawers are preserved and original finish. In great condition for era.
