The fine art lithograph print poster is published by The Van Gogh Foundation Amsterdam for a special centennial exhibition, printed in Holland in 1990 in an unnumbered limited edition by Art Unlimited, Postbus Amsterdam. It features an Abstract Expressionist Homage to Vincent Van Gogh artwork image originally created by De Kooning in 1987 titled " Garden in Delft ".

Willem De Kooning ( 1904 - 1997 ) The Dutch born Abstract Expressionist painter is known for his " Action Painting " style artworks. He was a part of a group of artists that became known as The New York School in the The Mid Twentieth Century including Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Franz Kline, Arshile Gorky, mark Rothko, Hans Hofmann, Robert Motherwell, and Clyfford Still among others.

The works of De Kooning are considered to be some of the most important Abstract Modernist paintings of The 20th Century. Artworks by De Kooning are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums including The Museum of Modern Art New York, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Smithsonian Institution, The Whitney Museum, The Guggenheim Museum, and The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

The rare out of print Abstract Expressionist framed exhibition poster print measures 24 5/8" W X 34 1/2" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern bleached white oak box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling.
