A silver mount of a flat plate engraved Empire style leaf motif on a square base raised on 4 balls. The mustard jar has a large curved handle and the lid has an acorn on top. Made by the Dutch silversmith Jan van der Cop, Deventer, worked during 1830-1848. The mustard pot is hallmarked Dutch silver with the hallmarks Lion 2 (833/1000) and master sign, The Year letter Y of 1833, Minerva head and sword (used since 1814). The spoon is silver gilded and also marked with the Dutch silver hallmarks and dated 1841 Measures 15 cm high, 10 cm wide and the depth is 6.5 cm. The spoon is 10 cm long.
