About the Poster: This poster is for a chain of men's clothing stores called Maison Dewachter. Run and managed by the far-flung Dewachter family, the haberdasher had retail outlets in France and Belgium.
Designed by Walther Thor (German, 1870–1929), who also designed posters for everything from bicycle and pneumatic tires to travel destinations. These three dandies clearly know how to dress - note the monocle and spats…
On linen, in very good condition and ready to frame.
