Limited edition of 125 copies, provided with a certificate of authenticity by the gallery and a photocopy of the proof of the publisher's print run.

Very good condition, slight tear on the edge of the lower margin, slight foxing in the margins and damaged bottom left corner

This engraving is part of the "Album Fenaille" or "Album Goupil", which is a book dedicated to the drawings of Auguste Rodin, published in 1897. There are many drawings related to Dante's
Inferno
usually referred to as "black drawings".

A copy of this precious album can be found in the archives of the Musée Rodin. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
