Cathedral is an original etching by the German artist Fritz Baumgartner. In very good conditions, except for some small diffused foxing near the margin that doesn't affect the image The artwork represents a cathedral through strong and confident strokes in a well-balanced composition with perfect hatchings. Fritz Baumgartner (Aurolzmümnster 1929 / Austria - Munich 2006). Austrian painter and graphic artist, naturalized German, Fritz Baumgartner, is an incredible interpreter of neo cubism and neo-expressionism. From 1949 to 1956 he attended the Academy of Figurative Arts in Munich, as a student of the masters Oskar Kokoshka and Hermann Kasper. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
