Antique Large Chinese Seated Kwan Yin Figure on Lotus in Blanc De Chine Glaze
Late 19th Century / Early 20th Century Chiense Kwan Yin / Guan Yin / Kuan-Shi Yin - meaning "Observing the Sounds (or Cries) of the (human) World". In Chinese Buddhism, Guan Yin is synonymous with the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the pinnacle of mercy, compassion, kindness and love.
Beautiful ceramic / porcelain with different textures of glaze (matte / gloss), immaculate condition.
