This rare vintage 1980's Mid Century Modern Picasso style Italian art pottery hand painted large ceramic cookie jar canister is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The art pottery canister jar with removable lid top is made in Italy in the 1980's by La Musa exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue. It features beautiful Mid Century Modern " Carnevale " style hand painted and glazed design details in the style and manner of Pablo Picasso in a gorgeous vibrant multicolor palette.
The large vintage Italian art pottery canister jar measures 11 1/2" H X 7 1/2" DIA. It is signed by the artisan make La Musa, the original Saks Fifth Avenue label is still attached on the underside bottom.
It is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.
