Hand-signed , dated, and titled "Omaggio a Cocteau/Limoni 87 " with a brown pencil on the lower margin. Edition 138 of 150 prints. This contemporary artwork representing an abstract composition is in excellent conditions. Giancarlo Limoni was born in Rome in 1947, where he lives and works. In 1975, he opened his first personal exhibition at the "Galleria della Trinità" in Rome. In 1983-84, he briefly studied at the Pastificio Cerere, where Fabio Sargentini saw his work and invited him to the Extemporanea exhibition. Since 1984, he has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions at Fabio Sargentini's Galleria L’Attico. In 2000, he started a collaboration, on a personal, cultural and professional level, with Francesco Moschini. This relationship led to some exhibitions designed specifically for the space of A.A.M. Modern Art Architecture of Rome, which dedicated an important monograph to him in 2013 (Gangemi Editore). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
