Hand-colored satirical engraving entitled, "How to Vault in the Saddle or a New Invented Patent Crane for the Accomodation or Rheumatic Rump'd Rectors" after Thomas Rowlandson (British, 1756-1827). Publish date December 30, 1813. Image of a rector being hoisted from his horse by a pulley-system tied around his waist, pulled by two girls at left.
