Affixed to a cream linen background, … Read more An exquisite pair of square antique framed embroidered textile art from the Qing Dynasty. Affixed to a cream linen background, each piece features a hand-embroidered silk tapestry and is presented in professionally framed acrylic.

The first of the textiles are in a stylized shape with curved rounded edges. The top is in a beautiful green and embroidered with birds and flora motifs with gold, white and purple thread. In the middle, a gold silk background is embroidered in a complementary bird and flower motif design with a blue silk frame. The bottom is black silk and embroidered with stylized swirls in gold thread.

The second tapestry is made of a mauve pink. Each side is hand embroidered with phoenixes with delicate gold thread. The middle of the piece is embroidered with a floral design. The bottom on the edge of the fabric features a small window, which at one point included a small piece of glass or mirror that can still be seen with a closer look.

Both are presented in professionally framed lucite frames with linen backing. Hanging wires are affixed on the back for easy installation.
