Pair of lounge chairs designed by Michael Taylor. From his Far East collection for Baker Furniture. Model 2510.
Lacquered walnut frames with steel accents. Horseshoe back with a sled base. Wonderful patina from brass fading on accents and some wear to the finish letting some wood peak through. Cushion and support pillow are in good shape and removable. Original owner had them reupholstered at some point and the upholstery remains in good condition. Or if a different upholstery is desired the foam is in excellent condition and would be an easy job.
Sourced from the original owners in a palm beach estate. Purchased in the early 1950s.
