This organic modern amoeba shaped coffee table is made from the salvaged base of a maple tree from the artist's own backyard. The lengthy process includes months of drying the wood and expert sanding to a fine finish. The artistically resin filled fissures and decorative circular cross sections from a red bud tree add interest to the top. A final oil coat of Rudio Monocoat comes after months of work. Marvelous burl like grain pattern and color variation and legs that are sculpturally shaped and also finished. See less
