Kabuki is an original artwork realized in 1862 by Utagawa Kunisada II (1823-1880). Boatman with elegant passenger in snowy landscape. Sign: Kochoro Kunisada ga. Publisher: Ebiya Rinnosuke. Censorship: Aratame. Wood engraver: Matsushima. Very good impression with blind printing, visible wood grain and baren printing lines, slightly trimmed, fold at right margin, left margin thin at lower margin. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
