It has … Read more Offered for sale is a lovely brass pot from India in great condition given its age & usage. It has a flat bottom and sides that taper out to a wide shoulder from there a short neck rises to a widening rim. As can be seen from pics, shows few signs of genuine age and usage, natural color and patina. A vintage piece from Southern part of India, said to be used in temples for offering food to the dieties. The last pic also shows some writing in Tamil (a South Indian language - not sure what it means, sorry). Measures 6” by 6” & weighs about 1.5 lbs. See less
