~ This mid-century ashtray with matching matchbox cover is in impeccably stunning condition. Truly a treasure from the elegant past. It recalls a time when nearly every utilitarian item was made to resemble a piece of jewelry or a piece of art. One can imagine that the Eva Gabor had a set just like this one on her desk. The ashtray is made of a clear glass dish/tray accented by a gold tone bamboo-inspired frame, the matchbox cover is gold tone accented with a gold tone bamboo-inspired frame. Perfect for keys, coins or just as a treasured artifact from the past.
