A vintage "lunaria" bowl designed by tapio wirkkala for iittala glassworks in 1972. Marked with etched signature 'tapio wirkkala' on the rim. Iittala model number 3449. An authentic piece of finnish glass design of the 1970s. Lit.: werner soderstrom, tapio wirkkala eye, hand and thought, helsinki 2000, page 318 measures: height: 3.15" (8cm) diameter: 11.02" (28cm).
