Three panels on the … Read more An 18th Century French Louis XVI period commode, or chest of drawers, made of solid walnut. Three panels on the sides, rounded fluted corners and short tapered legs. Four dovetailed drawers with cast brass lion head ring pulls. The interior of the upper left drawer has divided compartments. Nice proportions and good craftsmanship using pegged construction. Oak and pine as secondary woods. Waxed patina. Restoration on back left leg. Circa 1760-1780.
