A conglomerate of color combinations encompasses … Read more Vintage; C.1970's, Italian, hand-blown Murano, a Flavio Poli, Sommerso, tall and sinuous-shaped, biomorphic vessel. A conglomerate of color combinations encompasses this Murano, with a cornflower blue and rich, fudge chocolate color combo, as well as a soft and alluring, overall outer layer of a citrine yellow. with a thick polished and rounded top opening, as well as a polished pontil base bottom, as image indicates. The base bottom has a slight 1/16" of an inch, beveled edge surround, perfect foil to maintaining the balance as well as protection from chipping, as one an see from images this pieces has been exquisitely maintained, and in excellent condition. ALSO; it is worth mentioning, as it seems to be oblong, it is quite thick and solid in areas, but there is an undulating plain plain, in the form of a quasi OVOID-SHAPE to the outer body area, BOTH sides, which was formed with a paddle, which encapsulates and surrounded it self around the blue coloration, but starting near the chocolate fusion along both colors, tactile to the touch, and evident best from the last image in repose, as well as refracting light will make it more prominent and less so, depending upon vantage point as well as lighting, natural and unnatural. The depth of the chocolate will ALSO take on a more deep and rich quality and, sways back and forth from a full-bodied richness to an ethereal, somewhat translucency, to a lighter coloration, think espresso.
