Bold, Graphic, Large Scale, Post Modern, French Fine Porcelain Vase hand signed by Frederic de Luca, with the word Paris beneath signature.

This Focal Whimsical Vessel features broad, Op Art Red and White stripes which create the illusion that the vessel’s exterior is Wavy and has folds and indents.

The lower part of the piece has 8 large black dots around the circumference, highlighted by horizontal bands of 24k Gold trim of various widths.

Interior is white with the same glossy glaze on the exterior.

The Carnivale composition is a tribute to the Commedia dell' Arte design from italy.

In lovely vintage condition. No chips or cracks. There is some minor rubbing to very bottom gilded band at the base.

This band is less prominent as the body has a broadly angled conical shape. Photos are included of this area, which are part of the description

Large and weighty, the optical illusion by the stripes and the very broad mouth, make the vase seem much larger than its actual dimensions.

The size is shown in relation to Mr. Warhol’s Iconic can of Tomato Soup.
