Rare, Stunning, Red Tongue Modernist Murano Glass Vase by Alberto Dona for Barovier & Toso, Italy in 1985
For the lovers of Murano, a spectacularly large art glass vase created by Alberto Dona for Barovier and Toso Murano, Italy.
"The Tongue Vase" or is cased in Bold bright red. The exterior is black with white and grey stripes.
The bright red. tongue folds out along the side exuding sensuality and revealing the passionate red interior.
This vase is featured on p.109 of Leslie Pina's book "Italian Glass Century
Minimalist yet bold, modernist graphic art design.
The exterior is contoured in a Black, White and an Amethyst Filigree linear biased pattern.
The interior is boldly cased in Lipstick Red which oozes over the side expressively
