Sensational, classically period correct, abstract pendulum mantel clock.
This very rare beauty, was designed and manufactured by the small, very modernist company, Orfac, in the Netherlands.
This was a custom design, completely handmade piece. May be one of a kind.
I imported this from the Netherlands, so it could be completely disassembled, oiled. and restored by the original clock makers.
It runs accurately and silently powered by the swinging pendulum It is an 8 day key operated piece. Pendulum has short swing arc. So be patient till you see its movement.

When starting clock, start it at the time displayed,
Do not move hands to the current time.
There are many artistic elements packed into this lovely gem.
The biomorphic teak face has a high gloss finish, commonly used in Scan and Germanic countries in high end hand crafted wood pieces.
The brass numbers and pendulum add a warm metallic patina, while the timepiece appears to “float” within the hand forged black wrought iron footed stand.
Included are the key and an additional brass pendulum disk which is in better cosmetic condition, and easy changed out.
The mechanism is key operated.
The clock will run approximately 8 days on a complete wind.
It keeps time correctly,
I just tested it against my iPhone stopwatch. The clock can be adjusted by the small screw under the pendulum.
The clock runs completely silently. There is no bell or alarm.
To begin running the clock, just hook the up-rod with the brass disk and the bottom screw to the slotted piece hanging at base of the face,
Gently sway the pendulum It will continue swaying and run the clock. The pendulum has a shorter arc then you will likely start it at. Wait and it will find its movement range
Please be gentle. Do not over wind. I found no knobs to adjust the hands. I would NOT manually attempt to rotate the hands.
Start the pendulum at the time the clock hands are already positioned at when that time becomes the current time.
One full 360 degree turn clockwise makes the clock run 1 minute faster per 24 hour period. (pendulum will swing faster) The opposite will make the clock run slower.
It should arrive properly adjusted, but l highly recommend that if you are not familiar with pendulum clocks, bring the clock, key, snd pendulum to a local jeweler who will likely not charge you for showing you how to start clock and get a feel for how it should be key wound

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
