Humorous tableau, with an exaggeratedly bleak cast of characters - all barefoot and shabbily dressed: the hunched back father-in-law equipped with a shotgun, the disheveled preacher with a tattered bible, the bride with exaggerated buck teeth, and the groom with unkempt, red hair. A very amusing collection representative of 'rural' American Folk Art.
Wear consistent with age / use (minor paint loss, wear to the bible, general wear).
