From research they are from around 1925 and made in New York. They are made of Pompeian Bronze. They have the original felt on the bottom and the original makers mark on the felt. They are extremely detailed and look almost life like. They have been in storage for years and have been very well taken care of. There are no signs of damage and both look to be exactly as they came brand new. Nice to display alongside some vintage books in a private collection. They are about as heavy as they look and function very well as Bookends. Each measures the same, 6L x 3W x 7H. See less
