The form is similar to a pastille … Read more Rare and whimsical 19th century Staffordshire model of a cottage and sheep barn. The form is similar to a pastille burner and although the chimney is open there is no opening at the back. This piece is quite large measuring 9 1/2" across x 8 3/4" tall. The colors and detail are wonderful especially on the thatched roof and applied trim. Nice ball finials to the roof and sanded columns at the front. Good condition - hairline to back does not detract. We have a second matching piece listed - they look great together on a mantel. See less
