This vintage Thai pottery jar was purchased from the estate of Heike Hinsch, a photographer, and world traveler who worked for Time-Life for more than fifteen years. She worked in Picasso's Studios with David Douglas Duncan and has printed many of the great photos. Heike also worked with great photographers like Alfred Eisenstaedt, Gordon Parks, Dmitri Kessel, John Loengard, and others. Heike may very well have acquired this vintage Thai pottery jar on one of her trips.
The jar and rattan and bamboo basket is in wonderful condition!
