A red, Da Ya Zhai mark and red, Tian Di Yi Jia Chun cartouche is glazed just below the neck. The vase is decorated with two, finely drawn, four-clawed, sky dragons on the body and a third dragon on the neck, all in finely shaded umber and sepia glazes with gilt highlights, amid finely painted, white and sepia, leafy, herbal flowers, also detailed in gold highlights, and all in low relief. A four character, red and white, Yong Qing Chan Chun, Guangxu mark is glazed to the inset base. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century.
