In a nutshell, French country pieces are beautiful and elegant, but comfortable and not overdone. Thankfully, the period in which this furniture originated was when craftsmen began upholstering chairs as a matter of course, meaning that French country chairs like this one are indeed comfortable, and not just decorative.

Features a carved crest rail and Upholstered scrolled arms arms with matching back, seat, arm and pillow upholstery. This piece feature cabriole legs. It appears also to have a silver metallic color in the fabric along with pastels colors of purple, turquoise, coral and pink.

Solid wood construction frame. On the matching pillow there is lace and brass accents on one side. The backside of the pillow is the same fabric without the lace or the brass accents. Double piping around the seat, backrest and armrest.

The chair is in excellent condition. The frame is in excellent condition also.
