This rare cart was designed by Julius ( Gyula ) Kaesz in early 1930s. Possibly only one piece was custom made. The Chinese style was very popular between Hungarian architects and interior designers in late 1920s and early 1930s.
The materials used: stained mahogany and French polished beechwood, original orange color linoleum, and the original swivel wheels. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
