This elegant pair of Italian 1950s lounge /wingback/armchairs was designed by Paolo Buffa. These sculptural elegant and large chairs are very comfortable; they have a similar line as Gio Ponti armchairs and the profile of the senior chairs by Marco Zanuso.
They feature their original upholstery in pink-coral velvet. The legs are made of chromed iron and black painted, with a screw for height adjustment. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
