The front cabriole … Read more This is a fabulous pair of early 20th-century carved and gilded chairs in the George Ist style. The front cabriole legs have carved mask heads on the knees and carved decoration running down the legs. The back legs are also profusely carved and the seat rails are carved with egg and dart. The seat and back are nicely upholstered in a rich red damask with a flower and leaf pattern. This set is from circa the 1920s. See less
