''Ludwig von Hofmann, Springende Madchen'' printed in green ink in capital letters on lower-left margin. ''D.K.V'' printed in green ink in capital letters on lower right margin. From the portfolio of etching ''Deutscher Kunstverein Zu Berlin 1904-1905''. Good conditions except for some slight stains on margins and some light folds on lower margin, otherwise, the image is also perfect. Ludwig von Hoffmann (Darmstadt, 1861– Pillnitz, 1945 ) The German painter, graphic artist and designer, Ludwig von Hofman worked in a combination of the Art Nouveau and Symbolist styles. After the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts, he attended the Académie Julian in Paris, where he came under the influence of Pierre Puvis de Chavannes and Paul-Albert Besnard. See less
