Hand-signed on the lower … Read more Landscape is an original etching artwork realized in the 1904 ca. by Italian artist Francesco Vitalini. Hand-signed on the lower right in pencil. The State of preservation is very good. Passepartout included :49 x 33.5 cm. The artwork represents a landscape through intense black color, poetical bushes of a tree in the front, and the sea demonstrated beautifully through whitish moonlight, skillfully depicted by confident and precise strokes. The artwork characterized by a well-balanced composition. Francesco Vitalini (Fiordimonte, January 7, 1865 - Auronzo, September 12, 1904) was an Italian engraver and painter. From 1901 he participated in the Paris Salon, exhibited at the New Gallery in London, at the VI International Art Exhibition and at the V Venice International Art Exhibition. Here some of his works were acquired by Queen Margherita and by the Modern Art Gallery of Rome and Venice.
