Hand-signed in pencil by the artist and numbered on the lower right corner. Mint conditions. Very beautiful artwork representing a bucolic scene with several figures. On the background, we can see a temple silhouette and, on the lower side, there is a river. The impression is very fresh and the composition is well-balanced. Jules Adrian Flour (Avignon, 1864 - Avignon, 1921) has been a French artist and painter. In 1883, he moved to Paris to attend the courses of Jean-Léon Gêrome and, in 1887 he exhibited his artworks at the Salon of French Artists. He is considered a very interesting artist of that period, especially for the precision of his stroke and his ability to catch the emotions of the characters of his artworks. This artwork is shipped from Italy.
