Abstract Composition, color lithograph on paper by Piero Dorazio (Rome 1927 – Perugia 2005), created in 1968. Hand-signed and dated “Piero Dorazio 1968” in pencil, lower right; marked as proof, lower left. Unnumbered. Excellent condition, in Dorazio’s typical vibrant abstract style.
Dorazio was a leading figure of Italian abstractionism, co-founder of Forma 1 (1947), organizer of key abstract art exhibitions, and later professor at the University of Pennsylvania. His work is known for luminous colors and rhythmic chromatic grids.
