Perfect conditions. Fabio Mauri (Rome, 1926 – Rome, 2009) was an Italian artist, writer and dramatist. He was one of the main Italian avantgarde artists of the post-Second World War period. He was invited in the Biennale di Venezia for 5 editions of the art exhibition. His works are still exhibited in museums, galleries and exhibitions in Italy and abroad. The photolithography presented is part of the book “Manipolazioni di Cultura”, in which images, previously manipulated by nazism and fascism, are now edited by the artist. Thanks to photographic adjustment and comments in Italian and german, the sense of the image is overturned or amplified, even thanks to simple and descriptive titles, always referring to the politic power.
